When going topless all the time isn’t an option you’re going to want a quality soft top. We’ve got you covered with reviews of all the popular soft tops to help keep the rain out.
Hard Tops – JKs offer both factory and aftermarket hard tops – these are by far the best option if climate control, road noise and security are your only concerns. They fall short when it comes time to drop the top – you’ll need a couple of strong people or a hoist, as well as plenty of space to store the top when it’s not on your JK.
Soft Tops – Your JK can sport a number of different brands and styles of soft tops, including tinted or untinted windows, a sunroof style option, as well as frameless or framed. Soft tops are perfect for easily dropping your top for good weather, then putting it back up for that summer shower. They don’t usually stack up to a hard top when it comes to keeping your valuables safe or keeping out the heat / cold.
