Bestop Trektop NX
It’s like Henry Ford said – “They are available in any color you want, as long as it’s black”. The could have been talking about the Bestop Trektop NX.
The Bestop Trektop is the latest in the new “frameless” style soft tops. It uses the roll bars as it’s frame, so it has a fastback look (this means the rear window has a slope, and isn’t vertical like a traditional factory top. Since you’ll be tossing the frame hardware you’ll be saving a good amount of money, and it’s easier to move between a hardtop in the winter and a soft top in the summer.
Sunrider
These tops include what Bestop calls a “Sunrider” feature. This means that you can fold back the front part of the softop, similar to a car’s sunroof.
Black Twill Trektop NX
Bestop introduced what it calls a “super premium” Black Twill fabric. The idea is that the fabric is much better than standard sailcloth.
A word to those purchasing this top – the installation instructions are lacking (that’s putting it nicely). Luckily there are some easy to follow install videos on Youtube that make getting this setup a breeze.

- Includes everything necessary for installation; fabric, tinted side and rear windows, factory-style door surrounds, tailgate bar.
- Top Arch bar spans above the seating area to keep top tight, reduce flapping, and minimize puddling.
- Choose the optional door style you want; use your existing full steel doors, or use any Bestop door kit (sold separately) including 2-Piece Doors, Upper Fabric Doors, Element Doors or Lower Fabric Half doors.
