Wrangler suspensions changed considerably when the Jeep TJ first rolled out. The move from leaf springs to coils was a big one, but worked well for the Jeep community. The introduction of a coil based suspension greatly improved the ride quality of our Wranglers, but it did introduce a level of complexity that wasn’t there before, and ultimately lead to things like the dreaded “death wobble”.
